Der folgende Text ist die deutsche Übersetzung des Ministeriellen Erlasses vom 16. Oktober 2008 zur Anerkennung der für die Ausstellung einer in Artikel 14 des Waffengesetzes erwähnten Bescheinigung zuständigen Ärzte.
Diese Übersetzung ist von der Zentralen Dienststelle für Deutsche Übersetzungen in Malmedy erstellt worden.

16. OKTOBER 2008 - Ministerieller Erlass zur Anerkennung der für die Ausstellung
einer in Artikel 14 des Waffengesetzes erwähnten Bescheinigung zuständigen Ärzte
Der Minister der Justiz,
Aufgrund des Gesetzes vom 8. Juni 2006 zur Regelung der wirtschaftlichen und individuellen Tätigkeiten mit Waffen, Artikel 14 Absatz 1;
Aufgrund der Stellungnahme des Finanzinspektors vom 8. August 2008;
Aufgrund des Einverständnisses des Staatssekretärs für Haushalt vom 9. September 2008;
Aufgrund der Dringlichkeit, begründet durch den Umstand, dass im Gesetz vom 25. Juli 2008 zur Abänderung des Waffengesetzes bestimmt wird, dass die Artikel des Waffengesetzes, die noch nicht in Kraft getreten sind, am 1. September 2008 in Kraft treten; dass zur Gewährleistung der Rechtssicherheit die zur Ausführung dieser Artikel notwendigen Bestimmungen für dieses Datum erlassen sein müssen; dass es aus praktischen Gründen wünschenswert ist, die durch dieses Gesetz vorgenommenen Abänderungen des Waffengesetzes zum gleichen Zeitpunkt in Kraft treten zu lassen und die allzu lange herrschende Verwirrung in Bezug auf die Anwendung des Waffengesetzes zu beenden; dass der verbleibende Teil der am 31. Oktober 2008 endenden Übergangsperiode im Interesse des Bürgers, der davon Gebrauch machen möchte, so lang wie möglich sein muss;
