En effet, tout ce qui concerne ces droits reste un domaine compliqué aux multiples facettes, et c'est utile de les aborder puisque cet impôt a subi de nombreuses modifications au cours des dernières années.
Les plus récentes proviennent de la loi du 9 mai 2007 modifiant diverses dispositions relatives à l'absence et à la déclaration judiciaire de décès, de la loi du 25 avril 2007 portant des dispositions diverses ainsi que de la loi-programme du 27 décembre 2006.
Par ces quelques pages et sans aucune prétention de vouloir remplacer les services du notaire, ce guide se veut pratique, précis, rédigé en termes aussi simples que possible.
Exclusivement orienté vers le point de vue fiscal, il est destiné :
- à tout un chacun confronté au décès d'un proche à un moment de sa vie, ou qui veut mieux comprendre les implications fiscales;
- à tout professionnel qui désire à nouveau se renseigner sur les principes essentiels de cette matière ou d'y trouver toute décision administrative et juridique récente.
C'est volontairement que tous les articles de loi, règles légales et réglementations diverses n'ont pas été expliqués en détail.
En effet, il ne nous semble pas utile de traiter certains aspects réservés à quelques spécialistes et pas régulièrement employés.
Nous espérons cependant pouvoir vous montrer que cet ouvrage qui suit l'ordre établi par le Code des droits de succession peut vous être utile afin de connaître les nombreuses réelles possibilités pour régler votre succession. Page 12
