MESSANCY. - Un arrêté communal du 17 juillet 2023 adopte le Plan d'aménagement des bois communaux de Messancy, tel qu'il est contenu dans la délibération du conseil communal du 17 juillet 2023.
Ledit Plan d'aménagement forestier peut être consulté auprès du SPW Agriculture, Ressources naturelles et Environnement - Département de la Nature et des Forêts, Direction d'Arlon, Place Didier 45 à 6700 Arlon et auprès de l'administration communale de et à Messancy.
Déclaration environnementale relative à l'adoption du Plan d'aménagement des bois communaux de Messancy :
L'aménagement forestier consiste en une étude et un document sur lesquels s'appuie la gestion durable d'une forêt. A partir d'une analyse approfondie du milieu naturel, l'aménagement forestier fixe les objectifs stratégiques et opérationnels et propose un plan d'action pour une durée déterminée. Le Code forestier fixe le contenu minimum d'un aménagement forestier.
Une importante partie de l'aménagement forestier consiste à analyser les contraintes, notamment au niveau de l'environnement. Dans le cas de la forêt communale de Messancy (510,3992 ha), on retiendra les éléments suivants : 1 site N2000 (8,9 ha), réserves intégrales (18,47 ha), protection de l'eau (4,87
de l'UA ou 24,86 ha), protection des sols (3,34 % de l'UA ou 17,05 ha), protection des pentes (9,83 % de l'UA ou 50,68 ha). Des mesures de gestion adaptées sont proposées pour tous ces éléments.
